Julian Dausab Julian joined MYO in June 2005 as an assistant tennis coach. He also assists in office administration. Julian's development plan includes attending computer classes and the ITF Level I certification clinic in early 2006. |

Clifford Lyners Clifford lives in Swakopmund and serves as a member of our board as well as a member of our local operations team. He assists with general management and IT issues in our Namibian office. |

Pamela Lowry Pamela has an excellent resume in music performance and instruction. She has taught extensively in the US and Costa Rica since receiving her Masters in music from Boston University. Her undergraduate degree, also in music, is from Virginia Commonwealth University. |

Beau
Husfloen Beau comes from Boise, Idaho, USA, and received Bachelor's degrees in International Studies and French from Idaho State University. His interest in formulating development policy in French-speaking countries drew his attention to Africa and non-profit work. His interest in working with children and his belief in what MYO has set out to accomplish and how MYO intends to accomplish it drew him to join the team as a teacher. |

Alexis Hillyard Alexis is a first year teacher from Edmonton, Canada. Her introduction to MYO came in 2005 while on an exchange visit with the renowned Mascato Coastal Youth Choir. She was so impressed with the learners and the program that she returned the following year as an MYO teacher. She is passionate about education as the key to social development and holds degrees in Education, Math, and Music. |

Casey DeKalb Casey is from Australia and came to MYO after pursuing a combined Bachelor's of Arts/Bachelor's of Teaching degree at the University of Newcastle. She believes that education not only provides the opportunities to better oneself and the skills required to make the most of those opportunities, but also the self-confidence that lets children feel like they can achieve the goals they choose if they try. She is amazed by the MYO learners and enjoys helping prepare them to lead Namibia to a brighter future. |

Lindsay Hoover Lindsay is from Colorado in the USA. Lindsay and her husband Jeremy moved to Namibia in January 2007 and she began teaching Grade 6 Math and Science at a public school in the area. Now on staff with MYO, she teaches Grades 6 & 7 English and Grade 7 Math.
In her spare time she
loves to sing, dance and read a good book. |

Fiona Kerr Fiona is the Program Manager for the MYO Youth Sponsorship Program. In 2004, she took a leave of absence from her job to work as a WorldTeach volunteer in Namibia -- specifically 60 km east of Swakopmund (and Mondesa) in a small mining town called Arandis. While teaching small Namibian children how to read, she became convinced that education is the road out of poverty. Fiona lives in
Toronto, Canada with her husband Akufuna whom she met while living in
Namibia. She is the Manager of Strategic Intelligence at a Canadian
aerospace company. |
