Mondesa Youth Opportunities (MYO) is a boutique charity located in Western Namibia where we focus exclusively on providing youth development programs and services to this impoverished community.

Our primary objective at MYO is to develop and foster an environment where the children of Mondesa are provided opportunities to learn and grow in areas that are vital to their success in life, and to create a community of physically and emotionally healthy, engaged, and caring youth.

We achieve these objectives by delivering well-crafted after-school programs 6 days each week. These programs facilitate advancement in academic distinction, goal setting, communications, problem solving, self discipline, leadership skills and personal accountability for life choices. In an environment where so many children are given so few chances to succeed, we are effectively managing programs to help children develop the confidence to resist negative peer pressure, achieve academic excellence, and to obtain the necessary life-skills to pursue and achieve their dreams.

We are completely dependent on donations from individuals and small businesses, so please consider joining our team to help us fulfill our vision of breaking the cycle of poverty in Africa.
